This was our 1st time going for sharks and we were very unsure about where and how, but thanks to a lot of reading on Sealine and feedback from Trophy we decided on J-bay for our new adventure. Thanks Trophy for also hooking us up with Brad, he showed us the nice spots and gave us a one day crash course on the basics. He also helped to land my cousins first big one (120.11kg Raggie) Thanks Brad for a very nice day. Should anyone whish to get a hold of Brad, thy can pm me, it was definitely worthwhile for us. Here’s some of our happy moments….
We got these two pick-ups at exactly the same time, so you can only imagine 2 rookies running around in the dark. Mine was a 187kg and his a 207kg both females.
the next day a 37kg male an some small ones
next day a 134 Kg male and some small ones
The last day we got a 7/2 hiding at the “gab†and only landed a small black tip
and 1 sand shark. One of the monsters broke the line after running for more than 500m.
