Hi, I am wanting to start spear fishing soon.
I live in Ballito and I would really appreciate it if I could do a few dives with someone and learn some tricks and spots.

Regards Mark

Roughly how much is it to get started ?

I have got a wetsuit, mask, snokel and fins, and I got given a 1.2m gun.

Could you maybe give me a breakdown of the gear needed to start and roughly how much it would cost, if you have some time.

Thanks
Regards Mark

with all that all you need is a float and float line to connect it to your gun and your license obtainable from the post office any you are ready to go I would sugest some close fitting gloves aswell comthing that wont restrict your trigger finger  but will give you some protection from fish spines and gill rakers but some guys dont bother.

O and VERRY important a knife to help dispatch any fish you dont stone quickly and to cut any lines in-case you get tangled I have lost one close friend when that happened and would not like it to happen again.

pm me your details and we will give you a shout when we are coming up that way or you are more than welcome to join us on our missions down south of durban
