Ok. If you have a a ski/kayak and gear, how about 06h00 Sat morning?
Someone suggested "Shark Rock". We launch off the main beach and paddle to our left where we would find a pole sticking out of the water and we go 50-100m behind that...
If you know of any other/better spots, then we can try that as well.

We can meet behind the public swimming pool on Saturday morning... weather permitting.

Directions: When coming into Beach Road from Somerset Mall, continue all the way down. Swimming pool is the
last building on your right hand side ( sea side ) in Beach road. You will see big glass windows on your right, just as you go over one of the speed bumps.Get parking on your right.
I hope to see a lot of kayaks/ski's on Sat. :SSS

And...
I knew the wind was going to be 10-11m/s and 17deg.
Apparently 10m/s wind is way to much for my Macski Kingfisher. I couldn't steer the kayak in the wind and my anchor was attached to the side of the boat - big mistake.
I've made a pully-system and my anchor problem is solved now.
We were 4 guys on the water: someone with a Ark, me, Ianf and another yellowish kayak, didn't ask his name.
I didn't see anyone catch anything. I know me and Ianf didn't catch anything.
I'm going to the 5-spesie competition in Struisbaai this weekend. Conditions should be better.
