Mornin Cliff....
Lure angling.
When were you and Bertus last there?
I am wanting to go somewhere on Saturday but am having a cover made for my boat and they need it for another week.
And my regular partners are dropping me faster and harder than Naas Botha but they want to go on Sunday (when I can't go).
But looks like I have found a ride for Saturday but as yet it is unconfirmed and I am defs keen to hit Roodekoppies again.

Was at harties 3 weeks ago.....

It is very cold and very green.

Boat partner caught 1 small barbel.

Water has a serious problem with the green stuff in places the lure won't even break the surface film.

Keep us posted

They said wednesday.

Nope sorry not Bertie -saw a really nice cover on another boat - custom made by a guy in JHB

Makes it out of a lightweight quick dry waterproof material and his prices are good but a little more expensive than Bertie but he goes to much trouble to put in extra wear patches etc over the steering etc. Cover folds up to 50cm x 50cm x 10cm

Ryan,

al the red dots are good places to get barbel, the last red dots closer to the bridge are shalows 1-3ft later in the day u can find snorre there taking a nap in the sun.usualy theres hyasinth close to the shore then the  barbs cruise

around in front of them.REd dots closer to the dam wall there i get them on fly its deeper close to the side, the water is clear with green flakes, but u can see those black babys lying around.

hope u get some nice:wfish.
