Hi Guys, since there is already a few boat fan pages i thought it only fair to add a Seacat fan page as i am indeed a fan!! (Admin hope this is ok and that you'd make it a sticky?)

So to start off i have a 2008 Seacat 510, paired with 2 6ohp yamaha 2 strokes running 13" props. At sea level my revs with this combination get to about 5400rpm at full taps. I have a T Top fitted, live well plumbing, added a bumbox as well. This is my 4th boat i've owned, and i am very impressed with the ride stability, finish and generasl looks of the Seacat boats.

Pics to follow. Please all Seacat owners add your pics of your boat including possible pics of deck layout, custom work you've had done, or any other items you've added to the boat!

About a year and a half ago , client bought one of these Seacat 800's , as it was priced a bit cheaper than comparable
Lee/Butt/GE cat. After going to sea twice he asked for help as the Longdrop console dit not work for him .

The boat lacked usable Cabin / Storage space and after some surgery and lipstick was transformed into this.

L Hooker ,

You must actually include the Explorer guys as well since its the Same builder .

Some interresting info :

In SA they are exclusively built for Yamaha, but also exported to other countries - here is a Aussie Seacat with 2x Evilrudes on .

Here is a 510 Explorer , from Mauritius

running 2x50 Suzuki's . From a export point of view the Explorers outnumber the Seacats in numbers. The rest of the world prefers monohulls in this size because they either dont know catamarans , or because the do.

It is a AceCraft detection device - when detected adjust heading 45degree to Port so that AceCraft can pass.:SSS

Hi Stuart,

Main fish we catch are the Robustus/Tsungwa, but also fish for Big Blue/Buccochomis, Mbaba, Mcheni/Lake Tigerfish, Inshore/Offshore Lyani, etc.
Fish in the lake are not huge but we fish artlure/light tackle to keep it interesting.

Below is a picture of a days catch at last years tournament, note only 4 of each species allowed to be weighed in.

Hi All

Here's my boat just got it a week ago, got 2 x 60hp yamahas on the back...
Use to have the older 18ft z-craft but towing was an issue decided to go lighter and narrower...
