Greed ruins fishing

Ok, as you know I was in Parys for the weekend at the Dimalachite Resort. The resort is nice and clean, safe with good working facilities. If you are familiar with the resort you will know that the stands are very small probably fit for about 4 rods to fish comfortably. For this reason I booked two stands to to fish 8 rods and have enough space to be comfortable. The stand to our right was packed with a very large noisy group that were extremely intoxicated most of the time and they managed to fish 16 rods on this small stand. Needless to say their overcrowding led to them casting over our lines. 2 stands to our left was a group of men with about 20 kids, they had a 2 day party and did not put a line in the water, they played loud music despite large signs stating that music is not allowed. The more bodies a resort can pack in the bigger the payoff but it ruins it for serious fishing groups, I will be looking for a new spot for my next trip.

Yes that can irritate me a lot,sorry about that.I luckily had friendly neighbours this weekend and not damduikers that ruin it for everybody.Where did you fish?

Not the first time if heard damalachite is damduiker friendly. Will def give it A skip.

Very nice piece of water. Unfortunately it is way too cramped and impossible to relax and fish seriously over weekends! Have done a couple of midweek sessions where I am the only person on entire bank! thats great and completely relaxing as its a very safe venue also. But if you cant do it like that then you wasting your time and money.

I agree, midweek is probably the best way to go at this resort.

That is unfortunatly one of the bad things about fishing and getting to nice spots with peach and serenaty is difficult and can cost allot of money!

Had the same problem at harties and when we went to the owners they didnt, help because the other people brought in more money.
