With all the talk of safetly lately on sealine, has anyone ever used these guns and to what affect. I personally think if it works well it beats carrying around a real gun. my 2cents.

If someone attacked me with a real gun I would not even try pulling out a pepper ball gun - It only takes one shot from him and I wouldnt chance it at all

All good if the other guy has a knife or sharp stick, but if he has a gun, then you need a gun, and if there are a few of them, you need the real thing, they won't be scared of the pepper !

Ray Hall can take a Knife to a Gunfight ....

In all seriousness abandon your pepper ball idea cause when the k hits the fan all you going to do is tug at the tigers tail...

Go 9mm , .45 is overated..

get a 9mm .40 or a 45 otherwise just pray they dont hurt you.

Why a 45? Cause they dont make a 46
9mm and .40s&w will expand using the right rounds, but i have yet to see a 45 shrink:spite

Ag man why not go all the way with a Desert Eagle .50 Action Express? The rounds are exactly 12,7mm in diameter - more than just a show stopper!

45 over rated mmmmm dont think 101 years of history will agree with you. Nothing wrong with 9mm though but nothing beats 230 grains of lead

Toss up between magazine capacity and stopping power I would guess! My carry gun is a Taurus PT99AFS for concealability but if I could carry my .45 Para Ordinance every day, I would! ::S

Nothing wrong with NLR's if you have live ammunition to back it up! NLR's were specifically designed for crowd control and for hostage situations where the insertion teams had little room for error and subsequent collateral damage was not a option! Only difference is that besides the shotgun firing bean bags or rubber slugs, they had a sidearm, invariably of a calibre .40 or higher as back-up!
