I tried some last week and was pleasantly surprised!

Fillet and remove skin.
Cut fillet in 2cm thick steaks and place in baking dish/tray
I used Ina Paarman Lemon and Herb Marinade. Pour whole packet of marinade over and place in fridge for 2/3 hours.

Heat oven to 180 and close tray with foil.
Bake for 15/20mins and enjoy!

Highly underated eating fish. Also heard it nice on a braai. Apricot jam, garlic and lemon juice (like you would do a snoek)
Will braai my next one
Even my wife had seconds!! She normally only eats sole, hake and kingklip!

Did you catch the longfin? Any yellowfin around. Definitely good on the braai!

It was a present from a buddie! I couldnt make the trip due to doing favours for other people!!

They go often and always give them away to whoever wants, even peeople walking on the pier!!
Last week there were still some longies around, but the weather turned upside down.
