This rod is ancient, my Dad said it is a Hardy, one of the eyes has been replaced and the whipping doesn't match, none the less there are a lot of memories

I have found an old Alpha reel, which is similar to one of the reels my Dad had, any idea of how old it is?

I inherited about 6 of them still in their original covers. Don't store them in a hot dry place as they will dry out and become brittle.
