my first time in gordons bay

hi all, name is kevin... been doing a bit of fresh water fishing but now am dead keen on on doing some saltwater fun.... just bought myself and a friend some 12" rods and going to gordons bay and kogel bay this sat. i really dont know much yet and really hope someone can advise where to fish and what to use....

i tried once in melkbos but not even a bite.......

howzit.. give the new harbour or harbour r island where ocean basket is a try.. always worth a try there.. can stand either at the little lighthouse and cast towards the houses on other side or from the big rocks itself and casting into the big blue..bait will be mussel and cjhokka and fish bait

avoid g/bay in a s/easter, water is very clear,,strand is ok, esp' at night,,or around the bay back to strandfontain,,, or hangklip/betty's bay,,,

thanks for that... i have kept an eye on the weather and wind will be gone by Saturday. i have also heard that some guys have recently been catching steenbras and cob at harbor island so am hoping to do the same.

now just trying to get my hands on some prawns
