Our tackle shop in Struisbaai harbour - an absolute prime location - is up for sale. The shop has been open for more than 2 years already and is a hot spot for anglers from all over South africa. There is definitely no better location!

If you are quick enough you will still be able to catch the full summer season.

Additional income is also derived from fishing charter and shark cage diving bookings.

There is also a fully functional angling web site with around 2500 members included in the sale. This web site is already set up with a fully functional on line shop.

How will the "proposed" hotel development in the harbour affect the shop, if I am correct the shop is on the "proposed" hotels erf.

Yes it is on that property. we have no idea how long it will take before the development is going to happen but so far nothing new has developed. There are still plenty of people against the way they want to develop and the general consensus is that it will still take a few years before approval - and then a developer must be found.

Once the development happens we have first right of refusal for a shop inside the new development. While construction happens we might have to move to a container or such on the harbour for around 9 months or so...

We feel we still have a few years to operate the way we do now though.
