I was just saying what works better for me but those are some great catches and i am glad there is another member to the catfish family!Have you hooked bigger there before? What size hook is that on the head looks lekker big.Is there a big difference betwee the hooks sizes nobbles I was looking at the 10 for large heads, the 8 for smaller heads the 12 for half carp and the 5 for everything else will that be okay?I will rather just buy two packets of one size if there is not a huge difference.

I must say, the cats were thick, if we fished through the night, we could have doubled the amount of cats but the wind got a bit unpleasant so we retired to the tents. Some of the cats had marks on that looked like biting marks from other cats so suppose it was all part of the spawning fun.
Looking forward to fishing with you again cheetah. I fixed the ARK as well and got a nice 5.5 outboard for it so I can fish bigger livies now. Still need to gat that big cat on a livie.

That sounds good! So when i come again whe must shoot for the dam wall! Ive got a feeling that the big ones will be hiding there!

We can try the dam wall. I have never fished there before but I think it is about 50km further. The big cats may be there though and make the drive worth it.
I want to fish the place we fished last weekend again, but this time with the boat. We took the fishfinder and found a place at exactly 3m that the fish almost form a `` cloud`` on the screen and then around them, there was some structure so I am burning to go drop a livie there.

Hi Dorsal,

Very nice cathes, well done, and good on you for exposing newbies to fishing, hopefully they are now HOOKED on fishing.

Thats great,

I can see you know that water and fishing in general hence you got them into some nice fish.

Well done!!!
