Hi guys,

My fiance and I went with friends of ouers (Anton & Monja) to Arabie dam for the weekend. Anton fishes Light Tackle Boat for Limpopo Province and his experience and knowledge put us on some nice fish and PB's for 3 of the 4. Herewith some foto's of the fish and surroundings:

My PB

Apparently Arabie dam has the biggets concentration of Crocs in SA, estimated to be around 7000 of them, can this be true?

Note even close. From the surveys done a few years ago for a masters dissertation the population is estimated at around 250 in total. Remember that all the ADM water that played a large part in killing Loskops crocs flows into arabie meaning that you can probably reduce that number a bit given 10 years has passed.

It does have a high concentration per km of shoreline at just over 3 per km.

Interesting reading:

Hi Dirk

So vier sakke is dodelik.

Boot se naam is "RIMBALI". Hoop ons loop mekaar raak "with a smile".

Jy sal sien daai mix werk mooi.

Groete Anton
