Hi guys

The last while I've been rethinking swimbait traces, since summer is getting closer. While going through some older threads I found a thread on making steel windon's. This got me thinking, how would a swimbait trace made on a steelwindon leader work? In other words your mainline is connected directly onto your swimbait trace.

Would this work? Or is it a stupid idea?

Any input would be appreciated.:wfish

Interesting! Worth a try, would have to be a pretty long steel windon.

Works fine, we use 9m

Then another option is to make a 20m 300lbs Jerry Brown Hollow braid onto a 9m 1.5mm steel windon
