Hi Guys.

We have accepted a challenge from Anglershaven.co.za to fish in a 3 species competition.

The 3 species that will be fished for is Carp, Barbel and Kurper

Venue will be at Rust de Winter

We need to get 6 teams together.

The rules are not set in stone yet but there is a 2 rod limit per angler. We will fish 2 anglers per peg so the max number of rods in the water at any given time will be 4. You can fish for one of the species or target all 3 of them.

I would like to get some of the guys from the freshwater side involved as it would be great to meet you guys. And off course you are the experts in the barbel and artlure sections.

let me know if you are interested to join the Sealine team.

Tight Lines

Are the Barbel boys scared of compition or what?

We need the know how from this side to represent Sealine. Is no one up to the challenge?

Come on boys, competitors are Anglershaven and Extreme Angler forums.

The Sealine boys should make easy work of those guys???

Ahh as die baber manne hier in spring is dit verseker 'n victory vir Sealine, lol. Ek sal my stories eers uit check en hier laat weet maar dit sal baie lekker wees om saam met die ander Sealiners te hengel.

Hi, fantastic idea.
I would love to attend but I have a concern - Sorry guys but the fishing is really bad at RDW - we have taken it off our club's annual calendar so bad is the fishing there especially for species other than bass or carp. Last year our club 17anglers many of whom have provinsial and national coulours failed to land more the 2 species.
I think the challenge is great but the venue is questionable.... Sorry time and money is precious and I wanna catch fish.
Sorry my humble 2c
What about a another venue?
Roodekoppies, doorndraai,Renosterkop ?
