This butt cat was built in 2008 for Tom Chalmers. This was under the Supremecraft brand!

I think this is an original 21ft chariot console butt cat. No luxuries, just an ocean going fishing machine! MEN AT WORK

Back to the big boats. Apparently you should never climb on and skipper a 865 Butt Cat no matter what boat you have without being prepared to;

a. put you present boat on the market immediately.
b. Selling your house, renting out your kids room, selling your wife's car, doing what ever you can to place an order for a new 865!!!

If you have an ace-craft be warned, don't even look at  the photos, you could skip to stage a and b without even climbing on an 865! :doh

Another Kamassi Butt Cat 865, this boat was outfitted with twin Suzuki 175's . She does over 40 knots, i have spoke to the owner and Brian Hayward who did the installation.

The boat is also one of many of the new Butt Cats to be fitted with the most advanced electronics from Raymarine , by Francois Van Der Merwe at MDM services in Cape Town. Guys Raymarine is the business, played with all the stuff , and have raymarine now and it dosent get more user friendly, no more searching for what you want, settings or manuals!

Steven Green, the owner of this craft fishes her off struis in all weather conditions. She replaced his previous Leecat 800 walkaround also called seven seas..

Here is the ski boat magazine test and write up on this particular 865

The next size up in the range is the Butt Cat 900. This 9m beast is from the same mould that Miles 33fter Dr Fish is from.

This one is presently being built at Kamassi. It is a 9m full deep walkaround. That should get the cape guys excited, i've asked len to tell me who she belongs to because she has the making of a cape tuna boat so may see her down her soon.. but thats just a hunch

Don't know much about it hey BFC but the mozz cat is a 840 butt cat hull for sure from looking at it. As far as i know Kamassi dont own the butt cat moulds, they loan it from John?

But the Butt Cat has been called many things, for instant our butt cat 760 could be called a Kamassi GameFisher 760 or a Atlantic 760.

Back to the 865. Here is Johan Ernst's Kamassi 865 in Sodwana. For the Marlin boys, this one has a fly bridge.
