Started in PE by John Butt in 1957 , the now legendary Butt cat is still produced in PE under the Kamassi brand.

Known for its impeccable ride in nasty seas as well as being one of the first fully foamed ski boats in the country, the Butt Cat brand is now legendary!

If you own a butt cat new or old , have a picture of one or would like to share any info on these boats please post. If your're an Ace-Craft terrorist you will be shot, than drowned ( should be a familar experience if youve been on an Ace for long enough :fbash) and than shot again ( hardy buggers you Ancient craft lover are:SSS)

Anyway guys I'm just starting this off hopefully we will get some great pics and stories as well as maybe get another corporate sponsor for sealine in the form of Kamassi if we get enough attention!::S

Cheers enjoy!

***PLEASE ALSO POST SUPREME CRAFT AS WELL, ITS SIMILAR ENOUGH!

Wow what sexy machines you guys have there, I am the proud owner this butt cat, Named after my MOM so dont be rid about the name.

Have had some spectacular days out on her and working in a multi million dollar yachting industry I have driven and been on some amazing looking boats up to 35ft most of them monos. As great as they look ill forever love a butt cat.

The ride, comfort and just pure pleasure i get out of being on the water any butt cat just makes it the best boat i have ever been on.

Does anyone have any pics of the commercial butt cats that have been working between PE and Struis for the last 50 yrs. I grew up in Witsands, and the 21ft butt was the most popular hardcore commercial boat, run through the mouth, stay the night, load up on cob and come back full the next day!

Those boats saw real weather! I believe John Butt produced more than 1000 of the original 21fters! 1000.... speaks for itself!
