Hi Guys

After a call for some guys to talk fishing- i thought it might be a good start to share a trade secret or just even a usefull tip for fishing in general??

I know many guys is a bit "rod shy" when it comes to sealine and posting info... I also know many knowledgable guys on here that can add alot.... just like BigBen did, lets take action and change the stale mate sealine is in!!

My piece of info: 1/0 longshank bandit hook is best for grunter and steenies in the rivers....

Keen to hear what some of you guys can add??

nice one Kopstamp.

on a double hook trace...

top hook point is bent out (standard or bend them yourselves), more effective hook up.

@ Kopstamp, you must be bored like me to think of a post like this but here's my little bit of advise in terms of fishing. fish with the right tackle for the job or else something like this could happen to you when you're on that fish that you're fished so hard for.

Mine is not a trade secret but could help a person struggling with distance in casting a chokabait.

Instead of having the tentacles/legs of the choka facing forward I have mine backward up the line.

It takes the parachute action out the bait resulting in a smoother cast and more distance. Especially on a windy day.

nice!
it also opens up and creates a livelier action when floated and the current swell drags it, more pick ups

similar to jasons idea...

maybe not a top secret:uzi but i use a upsdie down snoek dollie, works on throw baits, use a range of subtle colors to aggressive colours

also found the upside down skirt works well, forgot to add them once to a slide trace and forced one on up side down, had a good fish, so since then i use them upside down, thats if i use them!!
