Spot the pommie - only guy fishing without a hat in the South African sun! He definitely needs to get a lucky fishing cap...

My old lucky cap (compliments of Bass Pro Shops) got completely worn & torn last season. It took quite some time before I found a new one that does the job - actually an old cap I got from the UK (compliments of Alderney Angling).

PS. Daiwa rod & reel!

Hey guys - I believe you are all VERY Priveleged to be with, and fish with Robson Green!

It's quite possible that our sport has benefited MORE from his programs than anything else broadcast! In the last 2 years, the TV stats are flippen mind-blowing.

He is an ENTERTAINER! First and Foremost!

He loves angling, is not the most proficient at it - but he appears to be passionate about the sport - that is what comes across on tele!

He appeals to viewers! Yup, people who have no interest in fishing? He is entertaining to them as well! People LIKE watching him on TV, and he LIKES our sport!

Common guys - someone get him on a PIG of a fish please - be great to have some "bleep, bleep, bleep" with Robson! Even the Grannies love watching him - keep them happy as well!

Bennie - agreed EXCELLENT! Greg is also an ENTERTAINER - would be great to see those 2 in action!!!

Saw Shag's posts on FB - apparently the weather was not playing the game.

I guess they ended up sitting back and had a "toot" as a result of that?

If someone had filmed THAT!!! Would have been footage of note!

He also fished with a mate of mine in Ascension Island about a year ago. Still waiting for the episode (2 part) to be aired here in SA. The fishing was excelent, and my mate even took him spearfishing. Here are a few pics...

Agree with you 100% Roy!

What a shame he did not get in on some of the very lively action we've been having here in Cape Town. Lots of guys could have gotten him in on the action.

He could have had a ball with the snoek and tail. And bugger the sharks! lol!!!

Dunno what episode/season the Cape Town sessions will air in but the Ends Of The Earth Series was 6 episodes and aired between May and June of 2011..

Episode 1 and 2 of Ends Of The Earth featured Ascension Island and that had some insane fishing !! The 1100 odd pound Sixgill was hectic, so much so Robson literally crapped himself! (wardrobe malfunction LOL)

Will be looking out for any new episodes, enjoy the series tremendously ..
