hey im a 16 year old and i just wanna know if a 14ft is a must for shark fishing,my friends believe that you MUST use a 14ft for shark..just wanna set the rcord straight.

i heard its easier to use a shorter rod ie if both the rods are the same type the shorter one 13ft will be easier to pull the fish as Mike said

Sage for your age it would be much better to fish with a 13ft rod, preferably something like a purglass 350/4 or the Poseidon HMG, these are both relatively easy to load. The reason why i say so is that you might not be strong enough yet to get ultimate performance from the longer and stiffer rods. You will also be able to pull harder with a shorter rod like Mike said.

watttt!!!! i said that u'll prob get better distance when casting and u will get more height on the fish with a 14ft

Im gettin my 13ft...and wen ur arms start hurting half way thru the fight dont wori ill be there 2 take da rod from u...hahahahah
