Guys I need your advice.

Im interested in buying a craft for fishing purposes. Im in Gauteng but travel at least once a month to the coast. Gatvol of casting from shore and not catching anything.

I just got my skippers now (1 nautical) and would love to do some fishing not too far from harbours or shore.

Was thinking of JS fx or vx. Some say fx is better.
Alt. maybe a centre console 16 footer like a explorer cc.

Wife is buying so need to finance it over maybe 36 months or so. Max R150k.

if you are mostly fishing alone get a jet ski it is easier to launch alone and easier to tow from Josi.

1nm is not far so would be better to upgarde to 5nm licence in time some good spots around Durbs within this range.

regards

Hey

with a 150k you can splash out on a nice jetski with a lot of toys. It will not cost you a arm and a leg to tow and it is the best. I also stay in up here and I also had a boat "hard work" if it is only you fishing. If it was me Jetski no question.

Good luck

JS is my advice

Been there, done it, got 20 t-shirts, boats is hard work if you live in JHB

You should be able to get a very nice set up 2nd hand for R 135k. The Rand/Jen?Dollar has gone for a ball so expect to pay big for a new one.

Cheers
