Kerels baie dankie, fanx very muts vir almal for almal wat gekom het that did arrive...

Was a great day, jd caught so many crayfish he eventually started looking like one

I didnt even catch my signature skaamhaai on the day. Arch thanx for the late lunch, was needed with the way you were preparing my coffee mug....

Baie geluk DALP.... jy skeer maar so gek, maar ek check jou jy vang maar altyd n vissie of 3.

Thank you for allowing me into your world of fishing on Saturday, guys and for the wonderful day of fun, food and fishing. I hope to join you all again in the future - maybe even competing. Thank you to everybody for posting your pics and comments and for making me feel welcome at this event. I had a wonderful time. Carol.

To those of you who had ask when the next comp will take place :
Next Comp will be on 17 September 2011 and the "Annual Prize Giving Ceremony" will be held on the 24 September 2011..
Oom Kaspaas will post the official conformation as soon as everything has been finalized.

Congrats to all those that caught fish.

Jeeez I miss those comps, archers coffee, great social afterwards and most importantly great people.

Hopefully I will join you guys one day soon again.

In gholf noem hulle hom 'n "ringer". Ek het al self my spesmase begin ontwikkel oor die man. As hy nie die blerrie raffles wen nie, dan wen hy die hengel komps.......:fbash

Your return had better be sooner than later. I'm developing serious withdrawel symptoms for a certain gentleman's Grappa........ LOL

Bl!ksem, I'm not here on the weekend of the 24th...ag nee!!! Should be able to make the comp on the 17th!

We are looking at moving the date as you are not the only one. Just waiting for oom Kassie to get back with the confirmation of the venue.

Ok, it's official. Next monthly comp is 17 September 2011. Next Members meeting is the Tuesday before, being 13 Sept at the Hunt & Polo Club.

The Year end function has been postponed to 1 October 2011 (To accommodate busy people such as Wikus and Marthin. OK, geen verskonings meer nie!)

One thing I forgot to mention is that wjmonty caught an undersize yellowbelly rockcod which was safely released. If I am not mistaken it is a rare catch in these waters from the side.
