So has anyone tried this yet??

How do you work the thing?
Is it for salties only, or can us DamGooiers also use it for Bass and Tiger???

Would love to read your thoughts

Hi,

Seen it used by some japanese blokes up on Lake Tanganyika. They caught plenty of Nile Perch using vertical/butterfly jigging. See shimano's website for more.

Oh Ja

Use braid - 60-80lbs. Free spool the thing till it touches the bottom. That's those moerse hooks are placed on the top eye of the jig - so it doesn't get stuck. tighten the line. Jig upwards with the rod tip - two or more jigging movements. Drop the tip and reel in, taking up the slack. When the line goes taught again - jig. The guys I watched did it on the drift. They reckon it provides the lure with horizontal movement. They were both into fish on the first drop and landed about 5 each in a couple of hours.
