My Hengelwater.

My Strop -- gly sinker, staal trace en steenbra hoek.

Aas - Sunlight seep

3 x afgebreek

I remembered as a kid we used "Blou seep" blue soap, so sunlight was the closest and it worked,

Tried, chicken livers, fish fillets and giblets, but there were so many small fish around that they cleaned the hook instantly.

Dankie Marthin, jong, toe daardie man vat veral die ( tweede een) toe weet ek hier is splinternuwe moeilikheid.

Mooi vangste daar Simen.

Was hier bo 81 - 83 (2 en 'n half jaar gedoen) - spes magte

Rundu kom ek gereeld in, Oshakati was ek laasjaar in vir so paar dae. meeste van die plekke bestaan eintlik nog, maar net nie meer so netjies nie.

Hi Simon.  Thanks for this post.  I always wondered how to catch barbel with soap.  Now i know!,  the bait presentation, will try it sometime.  Sorry quick question,  why did you use a steel trace?

Later man
