Swim bait trace,the Nemesis Way

Nemesis

Hi guys, been meaning to put a post up on how i make my swim bait traces.

Heres one that i usually use, it's 5.5meters of 175lb Couta wire, the 1st 3.5meters at the hook end are three twisted strands thick, the last 2meters at the swivel is two twisted strands thick.I've made the trace this way to save weight,as making the entire trace of 3strands makes it quite heavy.

At the end i've attached two 12/0's back to back, so this trace can be used on Sharks as well as skates.

Let me know what you guys think

The three strands coming into two.i make the trace out of two lenghts of wire, one lenght 5.5meters and the other is 9meters, i twist the two together and fold remainder of the last 3.5meters of the one strand back over the the two, so theres no joins.
