Tokelos, no I've never used a steel trace to target barbel small or big and I don't think I will ever. I bought those traces once but asoon as I handled them I chucked them aside as I didn't like the 'feel' of it but that doesn't mean that it doesn't work. I know of a couple of guys who use it and with good results. I used it with fair results. I slipped a 2oz sliding sinker on, clipped a 4/0 & a #10 hook on, worked like a charm.

Ek het al verskeie stories gehoor waar die 6 of 8mm trace op die 4 x 4 se winch was en dan breek daai baber die kabel.

Dalk is dit omdat die 4 x 4 nie so lekker buig soos 'n visstok nie
