Balance bands

It seems like the same thing which happened in OZ regarding the bands has started in SA as well. Was mentioned on the radio this morning. Reminds me of Adriaan Niewoudt and his Kubus culture! LOL

The manufacturers of the bands have admitted that the bands can't do what they claim in the adverts. The bands have failed all blind tests. They're nothing more than a placebo. The hologram is simply a sticker printed on a printing press. They have no affect on the body whatsoever. Seriously, how could they?

This is a R1 piece of latex being sold off for R400. The profits these guys made off gullible people were so huge they don't care about people eventually figuring out the scam. The guys you should be pissed off with are the salespeople at golf and sports shops who were shown how to perform the "balance demonstration" scams in order for a cut of the sales.

Its all friggin brain washing, had to fork out R450.00 for a hoodie for my daughter, just because it had Billabong on it,could have got it at A C Kermans for a R180.00 (by the way the R380.00 was after 30% off ,imagine what the mark up must be.)
Guys are paying 300.00plus for a t shirt with JEEP on it,HELLO,you dont own a Jeep go buy a PEP tshirt R49.99

Even if it is all in the mind, it works for me.
Sport coach R500 per hour/Psychologist R700 per hour – balance bracelet R200
So money well spend if this little rubber bracelet can improve my state of mind and in return improve my performance. Maybe it’s a shortcut to your brain.
Who wears the copper bracelets?

A lucky coin will cost you less.

Well, they're both placebos so you should get the effect anyway. Research conducted showed that participants who were told they had received a "lucky" golf ball were more likely to sink three foot puts than those that were just given a golf ball. Believing in a lucky charm is just as likely to increase your performance as believing in a magic bracelet.

What you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth shall come to pass - God. I guess if your really gullible enough to really believe that it works it just might! lol!

Any effect is pure placebo. Unless those runners care to explain how latex and a sticker improve performance.

I dont care if it is all in the mind or if I paid R180-00 for a piece of rubber or latex. With a nickname LOOP EN VAL it worked for me. So ya I am one of those fools that bought one. Fell once since I bought it. Take a quess what.... I took the piece of latex off five minutes before I fell. This fool is still wearing his piece of latex.

I'm going to get a PB Band and take the hologram sticker off then go to the local golf shop, slam my face into the front door, stumble across the shop floor, knock over a couple sets of clubs and then writhe around on the floor pointing at my bracelet and ask for a replacement sticker.
