Capespearo - Mate was that tail in your Avatar caught off our ski? Or shot off your ski?

Either way, if it was, I'd love to hear the "tale" so to speak, cause that is a champion size Tail mate...

Thanks Nepptune.

Shot while diving from the ski up at Eerste River, one of the most awesome places I've been to.

The 5 fish that shoaled around it while I was fighting it made it look small ! they were easy 20kg plus.Got it on my third down for the morning, loaded it in the hatch, and was back on land at 8am for breakfast!

Day's like that is what makes me keep coming back for more .........................

PS: Sorry Dorado, didn't mean to hijack your thread.

Nice fish Capespearo! I can only imagine how that fish towed you around, i caught a nice size "tail" last year outside simonstown and got pulled all over!

As for conditions at the "Bos" nice warm water and really brown, caught my Tally in a couple of hours, and threw back a couple of undersize fish too! I dunno about a guy catching his tally every day for a month but the fish do bite there at times. The last time i got to fish there in December i caught 17 fish of which 5 were size!

Lost a couple of nice fish yesterday! Caught the first one on white mussle between the white stump and the rest all on Sardine!!
