As you can see by the condition of the animal ,she was very old and the area is suffering a bad drought.My friends that visit the pro shop are all ripping me about how the bucks ribs are showing and making comments like:"You probably found this dead buck and decided to take a photo with it". HE HeHe!
The shot was taken at 20 meters and the buck walked about 50 meters and expired.
A week before the hunt I purchased a pack of slick trick broadheads and made up 3 arrows and tested them . the accuracy was excellent on 20, 30 ,40 meters.
The only thing that made me put these heads in the bottom of my draw is that they are extremely noisy, in fact so noisy that my wife even commented on the loud whizzing sound these heads produce.
Immediately I replaced these with nitron heads made by NAP , this is my new broadhead of choice, deadly accurate to the dime on all my shooting distances and make no more sound than a field point.
