 I do not know how thick this cable is but there is no way I can do any knot on this….this was my fisrt slide with this cable I have the same with two hooks as well.

industrial crimps...you get them for all those cable.they made horizontal and not round.so you can crimp it like that then.one overhand knot and a crimp....al thats needed.heat shrink wrap a bonus
