I had a cat problem in my garden as well. Sprinkled some fine white pepper in the areas the cat frequented. Next time that cat came around for its daily poop, it started sneezing halfway through its business. Man, I laughed so hard, I swear that cat would have blushed if it could. Never seen an animal so embarrassed. Never came back and my flowers started growing soon afterwards.
