Bombay Duck - Its not a bird

Small fish Harpodon nehereus found in the Indian Ocean. It has a thin body, up to 40 cm/16 in long, and sharp, pointed teeth. It feeds on shellfish and other small fish. It is valuable as a food fish, and is eaten, salted and dried, with dishes such as curry.

HI guys

It is very true..when cooking it does stink up the entire house/// my advice is to cook it outside which I normally do..after cooking the smell usually disappear but it a taste that is unique and is acquired.

It's a member of the lizzard fish family. Does stink, but like mentioned, it's an acquired taste. Me, I haven't tried it. The smell puts me off.
