Why a 3m Jetski

I havent made up my mind yet as to whether a Jet Ski or Ski Boat. I've done my practical surf launches and will do the theory shortly and then maybe make a decision. At this stage, im leaning towards a boat as there are 2 of us that fish together but not sure.

Ok, so i think we are heading towards the 2 x Jetski route. My biggest issue is that my budget just does not stretch to 2 x 4strokes. Jayden from racetech has given us a quote on 2 x vx700 which he says can be used but you change the plug to a higher burning one, do small bursts of speed and carry spare plugs as well as leaner fuel mix. he says a lot of guys are using them and are happy.

What i need to know is os anybody out there fishing of a 2 stroke and its ok ?

I dont want to spend the cash and not be happy. would it be better to wait to see what happens with my budget or better to get on the water with 2 strokes. decisions decisions.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. At this stage, i think i am leaning towards the 2 strokes. I also have to bear in mind, the jetski will be used for non fishing purposes for my family too.

I think you have already been given the correct advice. Save a while longer and get the 4 stroke. The 2 stroke isn't the right thing for this job, you will be unhappy.

As I have it to go to sea with a jet ski it has to be 3m or over.

You will be sorry if you by the VX700s-that is my honest opinion. Have you tried Fast Kawasaki in Richards Bay? Call Dustin and see what he can do for you.

I think we will hold off for now. Don't want to make a decision and regret it. Its also what I call happy season at the moment with xmas holidays looming so i'll wait until Jan/feb and then see whats available.

Its also a cash deal. I could finance the difference but dont want to so i'll wait and see... again ......

Thanks again for the advice mike.

Yamaha, Kawasaki and Honda are battling to move stock in this current financial climate. I would say now would be an excellent time to negotiate a good deal. PM me your landline number and Ill call you now.
