Hi There, We are going to Richards Bay in June for deep sea fishing any tips and maybe a spot or two. How is the fishing that time of year? Regards Mike

Hi Mike, There are several postings on Sealine that gives you a lot of way points for Richards Bay. I June there is some cob, Garrick and a lot of shad in the harbour itself. If you want to go deep sea I would suggest Kasteel, small High point and High point as areas to go.Good bottom fishing there as well, water is about 50m deep. Early in the morning I usually go Natal snoek fishing at Groenkop just behind the backline in about 15 to 20m water. Strip baits and small rapalas work well.
