Jy gaan alles verkeerd doen :-D

As jy saam met iemand gaan maak seker julle verstaan mekaar. So rukkie terug bekruip ek so 1m geelvis wat in 'n rotspoel vroetel.

Hi Guys.

Just got back from the orange, it was amazing.

Unfortunately i dont think i reached my goal of 20kg but it was still a pb for sure.

The fishing was awesome!

I caught a largemouth yellow of about 2kg on artlure

A smallmouth of about 1.3 also on artlure

lots and lots of small babers

One big baber but dont know the weight, will post a pic.

I also lost a HUGE baber that broke my broke my 0.45mm mono.

What worked the best was a sliding trace like in pic 1 on the first page.

All of the babers were caught on 8/0 circles.

I went big with the sinkers (100 grams)
Dont be scared to get in the water to check were it gets deep because most of our big babers were caught in a channel we found

Aaah the big boyz love these channels and/or old river beds and no surprise there that you caught that big boy at night altough it looks still early judging by the amount of onlookers. Maybe just after sun set?

If i remember correctly the run came at about 7 pm.
Casted the bait out at about 4 pm.
I was really suprised about the amount of small baber (1-3kg) that we caught even on biggish baits, if you throw a small fish head you would have a 2kg baber on the end of your line in a matter minutes

Awww, that's fine, at least it's girls in the background, kinda like the chorus of a song.

Makes me wonder now. Did they come to see the fish or did they come to see YOU :-o
Bad thing if they came to see the fish eh :-D

Well done on the yellows on lures. Next time do catch the babers on lures too. You can catch them at night since they go after the sound, a lot of fun because you cannot see the bugger, you just feel it take off all of a sudden.

Of course if in rapids it won't work so well.

Daai baber is in 'n pragtige kondisie en mooi in proporsie. As ek moet skat dan sou ek se 18 - 20kg.

Bloemhof dam.

Bassist11, ek sien jy's in Pretoria. As jy in my omgewing kom val gerus in dan wys ek jou hoe om baber loodkoppe te maak wat werk.
