Dropshot fishing around Uvongo / Margate area

Hi guys,

I need some advise on drop shot fishing.I am completely new to this discipline of fishing.I am actually completely new to salt water fishing.I am leaving next weekend for Uvongo and I want to try this when I am down there.

I know one of my spinning bass combos will do just fine for now and I need to re spool my reel with about 12lb braid and need fluorocarbon for a leader.

I need some advice on what type of lures to use and if there are any good spots for drop shot fishing around that area of the south coast.I need to know what time of day and what tide to fish.We have a rocky shoreline where we will be staying.

Please any advice will be appreciated.
