AND PRICE????
The finished rods will basically cost the same as the factory built rods as per their recommended price lists.
Waiting for the newly issued price list.
Add ons such as PAc Bay Zirconia guides or flocked shrink wrap will add a bit to the price.
Will be available from /0 to /8 in 3.4m (11') 4m 13' and 4.45m (15') in 1, 2 or 3 sections. Soon to be available in 4 piece travel edition which will fir in the car's boot
Imagine packing the rod and small tackle bag into the car before loading up for the family holiday, no rod on the roof, no pipes between the seats with the kids all over it. The wife will only know you got a rod with when you're on the way to join in the shad smash or join the jig and drop gang in the sardine run
Does the heavy duty butting you use not make the rod heavier?PM sent.
The extension is a specially built parallel tubing with an OD of 21.5mm. Without this you wouldn't be able to attach the 22mm Trigger seat (biggest one supplied by Fuji)
The blank is shimmed inside with another thicker parallel tube to take up the space.
The 21.5mm tube has a 3mm wall and at 50cm can take over 140kg of pressure. Some inferior rods use a thinner, cheaper tube to fit the reel seat and if your rod is in a sand spike or between the rocks, you could turn around (as some have) to see only the base in the rock and the reel, rod and reelseat sailing off to the ocean. With this one something else (line or tip) will break but you won't loose all your tackle.
