Just a rant...

'The little garric gives a decent account of itself, especially on light tackle...'

Is it not more than obvious that any fish would give a more decent account of itself on Light Tackle than when compared to Heavy Tackle?

Is it really necesary to add that?

:dude:

No, I just like saying "It Depends", same as other people just like saying "especially on light tackle".

It has got nothing to do with the obvious facts, it is just a saying, a useless bit of info.

But then again, It Depends. LOL! (Just busting your chops, don't take any offence.)

Only thing I've ever caught at Melkbos is Pyjama Sharks! Haven't been out that side for a while though.

Those Bananas in pyjamas are fun at first, but end up being a nuisance in the end. Even if they give a good account for themselves on light tackle...

...ay...

...Im starting to wonder if melkbos will ever have edibles...ever...

...on light tackle! HAHA

When the conditions are right, Melkbos cooks. I've just never experienced one of those days!

If you look at all the Steenbras that came out a month ago, or the Hotties caught recently, it is good signs that the area is getting better. Or it is just a fools hope.

Well for the sake of my sanity I hope something happens down there...I may be forced to build a giant water heater and chum about 25 tons of sardine if no fish turn up soon...

Im from KZN and am used to casting and pulling something out...even on light tackle.:merm

I see some storms are brewing...maybe it will open up some 'holes'...whatever those are anyway...

Give it some time. When a proper storm hits you should be golden. Check out Derde Steen and Kreeftebaai, when the rocks are open and fully exposed you should be on with a gallie or two.

Wonderworm will most probably get you your bite, but don't leave out a nice piece of vrot Red bait.

...depends...

Are wonderworm long, redish and found under rocks?

The terminology on this side has got me stumped!
