Vaal dam Fishing (Boschkop)

Hi guys, i plan to go to Boschkop on the vaal.Been there a couple of times but didnt catch alot of fish.not sure what bait to use.

I caught a 6kg on a tigernut but that was about it for a 4day fishing trip.sad hey.please help me out.

The trip already passed, but i want to plan another trip maybe next weekend.
