It is part of a boat fishing club. My dad is a member, so we can get a discounted rate. They are having a meeting within next week and then we can set a date. Not at Roodeplaat, there are way too many barbel for the plattie to be found by a bass. |

Saturday 20th sounds like a plan. I don't really know that area very well... I'll have to get some directions ahead of time. What sort of bait are you looking to use? Would some small birds do the trick at vaal? I got a contact at a bird breeder who has to do away with quite a few birds every week that didn't make it....? Rather let woerman tell you bout the picture...lol Woerman got the best of us & the Barble. Think he got 5 or 6. Biggest round about 4 to 6 kg. Myself a dissapointing 3. Chris had to go to hospital with his better half.....hook in the finger....ouch. Planning next trip to Harties, Roodeplaat or Buffelspoort. can't c y we can't make a plan..... There are plenty of nice spots on the vaal. I prefer the spot we went to, no wake zone for motor baots. That makes it safer. |
