Frankly you do not want to take your boat there. I live next to the dam and haven't launched the boat in the dam in a year.

The hiacints is just too much, and going through them will damage your outboards.

The guys at the gates know me so I can take my boat in, but they usually stop guys they do not know if the conditions are bad.

Sometimes they put up a board saying "No boats" when the plants are on the wrong side (slip side)

How is the water colour - green, or very green (algue)at the main gates (Nature Conservation)? Is artlure possible - can you see your lure in the water?

Just back from a quick 2 hour session. Lots of activity and fish jumping. Got 3 barbel and 2 bass. Saw monster bass, but he was not interested in eating anything I put in front of him. Lost 2 big fish, probably barbel.
