Thanks my friend,  we timed it well coming through the mouth at high tide, you could still see the sand bank in the middle so you had to come closer to the left side/rock side.  All was well though.

SO THE GAMES ARE ON FOR SOME BIG FISH THIS WEEKEND, ANYONE WANT OT BE IN FOR THE CHALLENGE IN THE GARDEN ROUTE AREA. I`M FEEEEEELING LUCKY THIS WEEKEND,::H::tight:

JUST NEEDED A REST AFTER 6 HOURS OF NO BITES, BACK WAS KILLIING ME AND DIDN`T CATCH ANY FISH FOR I LEFT MY SEALINE HAT IN THE CAR

I would like to go. But I'm stuck in George this weekend. Might be going to Herolds or Linkies for some galjoen.

Tell you what...you show me yours...I'll show you mine...I too am feeling lucky Rob. Wouldn't mind catching another 17kg + fish....

Hey Johan

Myself and Stevo went down there last galjoen season and we had some luck. Stevo got one of about three kilo's, unfortunately I didn't get any, but I hooked into a nice wildeperd...

All fish were released.

I am keen to catch there as all reports I have heard indicate that bigger than average gallies come out there...another spot that I find intycing is in Glentana...there is one hole where it is reconed that the banded galjoen come out quite regularly. Also alot of blacktail around.

Word to the wise however. Don't be shy to take along a couple of extra sinkers...

Not much going on. Gonna head down to Gelntana beach tonight i think, just to the left of Groot Brak mouth...hopefully get something.
Was there the ohter day and saw a really nice grunter come out

Only a km walk.
Target species = galjoen.
