SO OFF WE WENT HALF JACK AND ANOTHER MATE I THOUGHT OF JUST TAKING ALONG TO DO SOME PADDLING IF WE RUN OUT OF BATTERY POWER. SO WE MANAGED TO GET ONE SMALL LEERIE BUT SAW A BRILLIANT SPOT WHERE THERE SHOULD BE PLENTY. SO JAM AND MYSELF ARE GOING TO SEE WHAT CAN BE PULLED OUT THIS COMING WEEKEND

Went out to Knysna on Saturday with my kayak and got two grunter (both about 1,5kg) and an Eagle ray on light tackle.

Only fished till about 12h00 when the wind started pumping, no more fun.

Cheers !:SSS

I was also there, wind was terrible, not worth the effort actually. And all I got was small steenies and a few stompies.

'Did get some redbait for the new gallie season though!

I was down in Knysna from 16th Feb until 27th.

I think firstly I must submit my bill for the rain I brought along with me. :raine

I had a most enjoyable time and managed some good catches in the lagoon. Landed and released a few Leerie's but only one of any size 77cm. Also managed to land and bring back to Jozi (hand luggage) on Kulula a good Elf and a few great Kob that will be joining me for a braai over the weekend.

The water temp was all over the place and with the wind and rain made it very interesting throwing for mullet. From what I gathered I was very lucky as it seems that the fishing there has not been that good of late.

So...the Gajoen season is open...

Anybody got any yet..?

Robyosh and I are going to Lienkiesklip this wednesday to try and get some. I believe it is quite productive and delivers big galjoen...a favourite spot for the galjoen derby.

Who is coming through?

Fisher: Sorry for not replying earlier. This is a personal invitation to you sir. We can discuss "die wrak" weekend further and make arrangements with regards to that event.
