Went last week. You need floatation in that place. No bank angling. There are also a lot of natives lurking in the bush, constantly bothered me for cigarettes and they want the fish one catches. They did get agitated when I did not want to comply, but no incidents. Just don't think it's worth going alone, without floatation and R100 is a bit steep in these times.
Also didn't feel too comfortable leaving my vehicle there when I explored.
I did see some beeeeg fooshies, but they wanted nothing of the bait I used. BTW, I used all basic colours in flukes, worms & brushhogs.

My self, Ryan, Loams and Monster fished that place and you always hear about these big fish in there but I have only seen and heard of fish around the 2kg mark coming out there. For R100 I would add R50 and go to Bass lake where you can see fish over 4kg's swiming around

Ok so it'll be the following dates the 3rd 4th and 5th of Dec for Bass-lake, if you've never fished bass-lake at night or as the sun comes up with a top water lure, well then you've only experienced the tip of the ice-berg of what bass-lake bass-fishing is all about, yeah it ends up a little expensive if you go for all three days but believe me you'll wanna stay for at least another week, that's how rewarding it is.......

You going VC?

Ek dink jy betaal een keer in gang geld maar moet R100 vir elke dag betaal wat jy vis vang plus jy moet kamp geld betaal. Maar LGF sal jou beter kan se

Hi Guys

Is this the gwarrie close to the R21 just off Elephant road? I've seen it and would like to go try to fish. Is it R100 a head to fish and what time does the gate open? Where is the entrance.

I've got a small boat that can take three occupants: me, a chum and Mr .38

Might go Friday afternoon. Any takers?
