Electric Scales

Hi

I'm looking at purchasing an electric scale. the berkley one seems the best but it's R900+. Rapala got a few which are around 5 - 6 hundreds and then theres the rest. What do you use, would you recommend it, how much was it.....? Most important to me is whether it is water proof or not. I'm not talking about a few splashes, i want one that can be dipped in water and be fine. I already dropped my spring scale in too many times and fishing from a kayak and tube makes it easy for stuff to take a swim...

thanks
