Hi All,

Hit Bronkies yesterday on my ace yesterday.

Managed 3 species on artlure. Bass are thick at the moment and was fortunate enough to pick up a few on fly too.

Carp are all feeding on the surface on the nature reserve side and there were guys wading with flysticks catching them.

Had some very good giggles with the carp on a 4 wt they kept me busy.

Yet again I fail you with photies as I was on my own. Attached is one pic of a carp caught on a loodkoppie.

Barbel were also quite thick - however the boat traffic was frightning. counted in the region of 80 boats and about 30 jet ski's left @ 12 - like riding a bucking bronko tryin to use the foot operated trolling motor.

Due east of Pretoria and about 14 km From Bronkhortspruit.

Best place to launch from Baja. From Bronkies drive +-7km on the Kempton park rd.

Turn left onto Delmas rd. Drive past the Yellow country club board and on the top of the very next hill you will see a big board that says Baja. Foloow these through.

If you bank fishing - nature conservation is one of the better places - just don't know how to get there.

Major fish species - BAss, carp, barbel and kurper species.

Excellent dam for pap swaai - just all the carp seem to be pretty stunted but will keep you very busy.

Bass - seen some monsters there but onlyh caught lil ones all over the dam.

Very very busy dam over weekends - watersports and the good fishing.

Hope this helps. ;)
