ADVICE AND SOME MORE ADVICE

Good Day All

Disapreared from the forum some time last year and spent a year in Egypt. Now I am back in CT with a new passion..... Namely flyfishing........ everythingh from trout in streams and stillwaters, bass, small and largemouth as well as saltwater. I have all the required tackle and flies but now need the fishing companions and the places to go.

there are a couple of stillwaters in Cape Town - Jonkershoek in Stellenbosch (very small dams but quite technical), Eikendal which has 2 big dams stocked with an awesome variety of fish including some gold trout, perch and tilapia and La Ferme in Franschoek which has 4 dams stocked with awesome trout, 2 of which also have some bass in which give you a good rev as the weather warms up a bit. i haven't fished any streams and salt water is a whole other thing depending on what you want to target...

jonkershoek will be hosting the bell's whisky fly fishing festival on the 24th october which is a great way to spend some time with the people in the know!
