Howzit  Jason

We fished at Mission on the 20th of Jan. We took along some Cracker Prawn just for the hell of it and replaced our dropshots with small sinkers and hooks.

The result was unbelievable we caught about 25 stone bream in about a hour. My Ballie caught two Rainbow Wrasse beautifull little fish. And numerous Blacktails and Four Bar Damsel. We had a heck of a time, until the prawns ran out.

Lovely spot would like to get someone to Show me Where to fish with the big sticks.

Cheers

A few areas to try at Mission. 1stly Perriers to ure right. Secondly up north you have small bats and big bats. Small bats bout 3kms up and big bats another 2km from there. Up north u will fing a large Meranti log.... In front there is normally a ledge - good rockod and Speckles. Just past Small bats you will find a rock that protrudes like a fin - Nice banks to be found on this lil stretch - Southern pompano, stumpies, kings etc.

Then again, this side of the coast is magical!! anywhere from the time u hit the beach to Big bats, plenty of good water to be found.

Screaming reels to you buddy! :D

Oh an watch out for ol Mr Congerella!!! ;)

Lol, Hey buddy, Just read the water. ;) Look for good open clean banks, rolling water and terquoise banks. There are no particular "good spots" at ledges, besides The Lighthouse and the next 2km stretch south. Otherwise, look for the openings between two banks (fish have gotta enter there or exit) and of course the front or back end of banks.......erm, not making sense am I? :D Oh gv me a call n we go pull sum fish!!! :dude:
