Mailed price lists to you guys.
See if you can't get a few guys together and make a big order.
If you take four or more moulds you get a 10% discount on the moulds.

Hello Everyone!!

I would just like to say a big thanks to Dup on his top quality moulds. I got them yesterday and tried my hand at casting sinkers. In a matter of an hour I had cast just under 60 sinkers adn 90% of them had formed correctly, but through no fault of the mould...

Top stuff Dup.
I will be ordering the other weight catergories I use from you in future.

PS: Does anyone know the average price of Lead these days...I would like to calculate the saving...

Glad to hear you are busy making your own sinkers.

The first few sinkers will not be full so what I do is I heat up the mould before is start casting.

You must also not play with the lead when you are going to pour, you must pour it and get it over. The longer you take to quicker the lead cools down.
Even if the temp just drops a bit it will make life difficult for you.

if you have more questions you can mail or pm me.

or phone me 0741 037 036

@ all the guys that wanted prices i replied.

Hi Gold shark

I bought about 200kg of wheelweights from a HiQ shop at R7 a KG.

The wheel weights contains some impuritiesbut you loose about 3g on a seven oz sinker.

Now to me that does not make a difference.

If it looks like a seven oz and feels like a seven oz then it is a seven oz.

With that in mind a seven oz cost me about R2.85 to make.

Makes you think what these sinker suppliers are doing with all their money. Because they are screwing our ears off.
