For the guys who asked me to post this

Here is a pic of one of my swim bait traces

Made with 16/0 and 12/0 Stainless hooks

3m 400lb 49 strand wire been crimped with double crimps and a ball bearing swivel used.

6m 2.5mm Wind on leader

they actually silver - i think it is the way the flash caught it with the light etc

they are stainless hooks - mustad if i remember correct - 16/0 and 12/0

tuna,

what hooks u normally use for throw baits there?

i like the mustad kendal brown hooks - use a lot of 9/0, 10/0 and 11/0

once sharpend these are great all round hooks

I also use the brown 11 O mustas, they cheap and very strong, for my swimbaits and anyting i expect to be really big i use stainless 12 O tuna hooks
@ R27 a hook it's a bit Expensive for every day use

I am still making pretty much the same trace. You are welcome to give me a call - bring the hooks, wire etc to my house and I will gladly help you. I have looked at using the 400lb wire for the leader as well - I was drilled again a few weeks back at Hole in the Wall on a swim bait.
